The biggest and purest is the Baltic region in Europe, with amber dating back 40-60 million years. Unlike stone, amber is warm against the skin and pleasant to wear.

The existence of amber is itself a miracle – the resin from trees millions of years ago needed to be carried away by water to the ancient seabed where over millions of years, and under pressure, it transformed into the amber we know today.

How often should I wear the amber for maximum effect?
We recommend that you wear your amber as often as possible, and ideally 24/7. The oils released by the amber accumulate in the body and the more often the amber is worn the more oil is absorbed by the body.

How do I put the anklet on?
The amber anklets each have plastic clasps that match the colour of their amber. One end of the clasp screws into the other.

What about wearing during the bath, shower or when swimming?
Yes, you can wear your amber in the water. The thread can weaken and stretch with prolonged exposure to water, but the amber beads themselves are not affected by water.

Should my first purchase be an amber necklace, bracelet or anklet?
The only difference between our amber necklaces and bracelets/anklets is that there is more amber in a necklace and so it is more effective, and to have a necklace and a bracelet or anklet is even better.
